Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is there free ground transportation? There is free ground transportation within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. To set up transportation please speak to the bell captain in advance for time and location. 
  2. Can my special dietary needs be accommodated? Yes, be sure to let us know on your registration.
  3. What is the proper attire? The Phoenix area is very casual and warm. We request that you come in comfortable clothes that will allow you to focus on the materials.
  4. Are meals included? We provide light breakfast items each morning and lunch on both days as well as beverage service throughout the days.
  5. Will we have the opportunity to meet Dr. Cialdini? Yes, Dr. Cialdini will be there to welcome us on day one and to speak to us at lunch on day one about his latest research.
  6. What are the start and end times each day? We will run from 8:00AM-5:30PM on Thursday, March 19 and from 8:00AM-3:00PM on Friday, March 20. The workshop doors will open at 7:40PM both days.
  7. Are special room rates available? We have a secured a special rate of $184 single occupancy plus taxes per night. The block of rooms is under Principles of Persuasion on a first-come, first served basis until Monday, February 16, 2009. Please call 480-833-5555 or 800-544-5866 to reserve your room.
  8. Can I bring my laptop? From many comments, we’ve found this too distracting to the other participants, so the answer is No.
  9. How far is the hotel from Sky Harbor International Airport? 15-20 minutes.
  10. Can I bring a tape recorder or other recording device? No, the POP Workshop and all materials are copy written.
